Kama Trivia Night

Kama Scout Group is seeking your support. We are hosting a trivia night on Friday 19 May 2023 at Belconnen Labor Club to support our fundraising goal to build an all-weather shelter for our Scouts at the Kama Scout Hall. We would like to take this opportunity to seek your support in making this event a success.

Kama Scout Group has been a member of the Belconnen community for over 50 years and we currently offer programs for youth aged 5 to 18. These activities provide opportunities to for our Cub Scouts, Scouts and Venturer Scouts to develop skills through scouting activities such as leadership, teamwork, problem solving and communication.

In addition to the building of the all-weather shelter, fundraising goals support the ongoing purchase of scouting equipment, amenities within our scout hall, and provide financial support to our youth members whose families are not currently able to meet the fee requirements.

 

Any donations, either monetary, vouchers or goods will be utilised as part of the evening as part of the silent auctioning or prizes for the event. All donations are tax deductible and can be made either through our treasurer (treasurer.kama@scoutsact.com.au).

 

All companies who support us will be formally recognised at the event, through our newsletters and on our Facebook page. We would also like to extend an offer to attend the Trivia night - tickets for the event are available for $20 per head or $180 for a table of ten people and are available at https://www.trybooking.com/CHIIT.

 

We are a not for profit, volunteer organisation giving back to the youth of today and the leaders of tomorrow. Our youth programs are supported by our volunteer leaders who are friendly, talented and dedicated people whose interests and abilities cover a wide scope of useful skills including hiking, camping, skiing, caving, archery, canoeing/kayaking, land-care, construction and more.
